Leading by one point, the College of Education (COE) of the University of Negros Occidental – Recoletos toppled the College of Arts and Sciences (CAS) and became the overall champion of the U-Week 2009 Literary Musical Contests on Sept 8 and 10.
A multi-themed photo exhibit entitled, Thumb Tacks, greeted to welcome the UNO-R visitors to its U-Week 2009 celebration since day one on Sept. 7, until it ended on Sept. 12.

The University of Negros Occidental-Recoletos will hold the St. Ezekiel Moreno Service Awards on September 10, 2009. The awarding ceremony will take place at the University Lobby at 7:00 pm.
The Filipino Department of the University of Negros Occidental-Recoletos will be holding Timpalak sa Likhang-Awit at Tulayaw, today, September 9 at the UNO-R Auditorium.
