e HEART of every UNO-Rian is enkindled to set the motion of love. The MIND of every UNO-Rian is searching for true knowledge. The SPIRIT of every UNO-Rian is filled with life.
 
UNO-R opens today its 63rd U-Week 2009 to showcase the UNO-Rians’ passion for excellence in academics, culture, sports, and community and social development, with the theme “Kindling the Heart, Probing the Mind and Enlivening the Spirit.”

But in solidarity with the observance of the National Day of Mourning today, the U-Week Parade and Grand Opening activities – Danxercise, Lion Dance, and Kasadyahan Dance – are rescheduled tomorrow, Sept. 8.

Pushing through today are the Septenary Mass for St. Nicholas Tolentino, the Opening Exhibits, RCY Camp Opening Ceremony, Grade School LitMus Contest,  College of Information and Technology’s IT’s in the Mind, and College of Engineering’s INNOVENTION Contest.
