The Red Cross Youth Organization of the University of the Negros Occidental -Recoletos will be conducting series of Basic First Aid Trainings during the University Week celebration, September 7-12.
The Basic First Aid Training in the Campus will be held on September 8 from 9 to 11:30 and from 1:30 to 5:30 and in the afternoon of September 9. It aims to provide the students the knowledge and skill on how to give basic first aid or initial care for an illness or injury.
The RCY UNO-R Chapter will also be sponsoring Basic Life Support for Lay Rescuers on September 10.
The Red Cross Youth aims to educate and empower the children and youth in the spirit of Red Cross through constructive trainings and effective leadership, and provide opportunities for directing and harnessing their energy and idealism into worthwhile humanitarian activities.
Furthermore, midnight war games will be held on September 9 while the Rappelling will be held on September 11 at the College of Business and Accountancy Building.
A one-week camp will also be conducted at the grandstand during the U-Week.
