The University of Negros Occidental-Recoletos held the Turn Over Ceremony and Installation of Religious and Lay Administrators for the Academic Year 2009-2010 on June 16, 9:00 AM at the President’s Hall.

A three-day leadership seminar workshop was held at UNO-Recoletos last May 26, 27 and 28, 2009. This annual activity is sponsored by the UNO-R Administration in cooperation with the Supreme Student Government, UNO-R League of Governors and the UNO-R Campus Organizations Federation. The design of the training –workshop is patterned from Big Brother, Survivor and Amazing Race.

The UNO-R Supreme Student Government, in cooperation with the UNO-R Sports Office, sponsors “Pabalhas”, a summer Basketball Tournament 2009.
Two faculty members from the College of Criminal Justice Education, Ms. Jean Benedicto and Ms. Caryl Vina Jabasa, attended a two-week specialization training in Forensics at the Criminology F.I.L.E. Academy in Cebu City last April 14-28, 2009. Ms. Benedicto specialized in Questioned Document Examination while Ms. Jabasa in Forensics Ballistics.
