Fr. Sixto Bitangjol, OAR, Vice President for Administration, flew to Saipan on the 18th of June to cater to the request of Fr. Rey D. Rosal, Pastor of San Vicente Parish in Saipan, to minister the said parish in his absence due to his scheduled medical check-up and vacation from June 23 to August 11, 2009.
In an electronic message, Fr. Bitangjol said his arrival in Saipan was very timely because he was able to attend the launching of the Year of the Priests last June 19, and he was very fortunate to have attended the occasion together with Most Rev. Tomas Camacho, Bishop of Chalan Kanoa. Fr. Bitangjol now ministers the San Vicente Parish with approximately 200 parishioners and will return to the country to attend to his school responsibilities as soon as Fr. Rosal reports to the parish.
