Walk for Healing

A walk for healing in honor of St. Ezekiel Moreno was organized by the Office of the Vice President for Student Welfare and Student Affairs in cooperation with the Office of the Vice President for External Affairs last August 19, 2007. The walk commenced from the Provincial Lagoon and ended at the UNO-R Gym.

UNO-R Bacolod grants Full Scholarships to AFP Dependents

The University of Negros Occidental-Recoletos Bacolod signed a memorandum of agreement with the Armed Forces of the Philippines Educational Benefit System (AFPEBSO) that grants full scholarship to three (3) dependents of soldiers killed-in-action. Witnessed by other grantor schools in Bacolod, the agreement was signed in a simple ceremony at the Sampaguita Hall of the Sugarland Hotel.

Japanese Hospital eyes partnership with UNO-R Bacolod Nursing

The Kyoto Renaiss Hospital from Fukuchiyama City, Kyoto, Japan expressed its interest to forge partnership with UNO-R Bacolod College of Nursing through a scholarship program. This came about after the successful partnership of another Japanese firm Marufuko Sangyo Limited with the College of Engineering.
