Pinnacle Technologies, Inc. congratulates Autonomous UNO-R


Pinnacle Technologies, Inc., a company that provides Academic Information Management System (AIMS), congratulates the University of Negros Occidental-Recoletos (UNO-R) for achieving the autonomous status granted by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED). This grant is pursuant to the Commission on Higher Education Commission En Banc Resolution No. 076-2009. This is in recognition of UNO-R’s accomplishments, adherence to quality assurance, and commitment to public responsibility and accountability as a higher education provider.

CCJE Faculty Undergo Forensic Training

Two faculty members from the College of Criminal Justice Education, Ms. Jean Benedicto and Ms. Caryl Vina Jabasa, attended a two-week specialization training in Forensics at the Criminology F.I.L.E. Academy in Cebu City last April 14-28, 2009.  Ms. Benedicto specialized in Questioned Document Examination while Ms. Jabasa in Forensics Ballistics.  Both faculty are grantees of the UNO-R Faculty Development Program. CCJE Alumnus Joins PNPA

Rene Guimera Batayola, Jr., a graduate of BS Criminology batch 2009 and formerly a READS scholar assigned at the UNO-R Convent, officially joined the Philippine National Police Academy (PNPA) in Fort Bonifacio, Taguig City last April 30, 2009 after passing the medical-dental and PFT examinations and panel interview conducted by the said College for the course on Public Safety Administration.
