The English and Mass Communication Department of the College of the Arts and Sciences, in cooperation with the ARTAPP (Art Appreciation) Class Section K22 of the College of Information Technology, sponsored “A Christmas Tree Design Contest” on December 10, 2008 at the College of Business and Accountancy Building. The contest aimed to develop the students’ artistic ability and imagination and for them to feel the “spirit of Christmas” through this meaningful activity. Four groups of students from ARTAPP section K22 participated in this project.
Dr. Vilma Azucena, Mrs. Gliceria Gilbuena, Mr. Ericson Rios, and Mr. Rufus Javier, Jr. were invited to judge the contest. Entries were judged according to creativity, originality. teamwork, and organization. Announcement of winners will be on December 17, 2008.
