The In-Service Training 2023, tagged as “Bugtaw,” opened last July 3, 2023. The training will end on July 14, 2023. The activity commenced with the Opening Mass led by Fr. Amadeo Lucero, OAR, Vice President for Administration and Finance, and HRMDO Director. The opening coincided with the feast of St. Thomas, the Apostle. In his Homily, he reminds us of the presence of God and that we need to deepen our faith. He also shared that INSET 2023 will help us understand our purpose as a member of the Augustinian Recollect family. We also need to discover our real mission. After the Mass was the opening program at the Gymnasium. After the opening formalities, Fr. Lucero gave the welcome address and the rationale of INSET 2023 “Bugtaw.” Dr. Carlos Eduardo Legaspi, Jr. read the Father President’s Message, while Ms. Rowela Javier, Associate Director, HRMDO, gave the INSET House Rules. The first session of INSET was about the Augustinian Values and was given by Fr. Romeo Ben Potencio, OAR. The second session was about Workplace Bullying by the School of Law Dean, Atty. Dodie Turla.
The second day of the INSET opened with the Holy Mass led by Fr. Cristituto Palomar. OAR. The day’s speakers were Dr. Alfredo Alave, PQA Director, on CMO 6 s. 2023, about the new criteria for Autonomous Status and Engr. Ashraf Khater, RDO Director, on ISO 2018 Concerns.
The third day Eucharistic Celebration was with Fr. Jun De Mesa, OAR. The speakers were Dr. Anna Marie Laarni M. Pornan on Risk Management and Dr. Aileen Alvares Tranquillo on Managing Stress and well being.
