The University conducted a Senior High School Parents’ Orientation November 14, 2015 at the University Gym where around 339 parents from Bacolod City schools attended. The program stated with the Welcome Remarks of Rev. Fr. Louie Gabinete, OAR. This was followed by the message of DEPEd Schools Division of Bacolod City Superintendent Cynthia G. Demavivas, CESO V, while the talk on updates of SHS was given by Ms. Ellen dela Cruz, DEPEd Focal person for Senior High School. Mrs. Alon Song, UNO-R K-12 Program Coordinator, discussed the UNO-R SHS and the K-12 program. The UNO-R Scholarships Program was explained by Mrs. Cathy Sebastian while Career Pathing and “Tatak Rekoleto” were presented by Mrs. Ma. Wilma Maravilla of the HS SDPC. UNO-R college offerings were presented by SDPC Director Mr. Lino Sumbillo. The morning’s activity ended with the closing remarks of the Director for External Affairs, Dr. Carlos Eduardo Legaspi, Jr.
