Rev. Fr.Alberto S.Avanzado, OAR celebrated his 25th Anniversary of Sacerdotal Ordination with a Thanksgiving Mass at St.Nicholas de Tolentine Oratory Wednesday morning. Fr. Avanzado is currently the director of Campus Ministry Office of the university. In his message, Fr. Avanzado thanks the Lord for choosing him as one of the OAR priests. “I thank also my family for their continued support when I was still in the seminary”, he added.
The mass was followed by a short program at the UNO-R Main Lobby. Fr. Avanzado’s celebration of 25 years of priesthood manifests his undying faith to the Lord. Fr. Anthony Ireneo, OAR in his homily said that his vocation to the Priesthood was influenced greatly by Fr. Avanzado when he was assigned in Talisay. He was instrumental in his decision to answer the call of Christ and to follow His footsteps.
