CHED DARETO MONITORING TEAM VISITS UNO-R

July 29, 2019, President’s Hall, UNO-R-The Commission on Higher Education (CHED) Discover Applied Research and Extension for Trans/interdisciplinary Opportunities (DARETO) Monitoring teams of the K to 12 Transition Programs, Project Management Unit, Instruction, Research, and Spectral Engagement (IRSE) from the Central Office and the Regional office visited the university to monitor the on-going CHED funded program, Climate Change Vulnerability Assessment for Local Utilization and Empowerment of Resilient Communities in Negros Occidental (Value- Negros) of UNO-Recoletos. The project is in collaboration with La Consolacion College – Bacolod. The team from the Central office is composed of Mayumi Belandres, Senior Education Program Specialist; Meynard Balao, Education Program Specialist II; Edmerson Z. Calungsod, Project Technical Staff III; and Jaime Joyce Sese, Administrative Officer IV. The Regional office representatives were Maria Karen Catalina Zaldivar; Kimberly Aliman; Ruth Adorable and Ma. Rosevelle Cainglet with Dr. Roel Alli, Professor VI, Research Technical Expert from West Visayas State University. The Value Negros team is composed of Dr. Mona Freda SEcondes – Team Manager; Engr. Ashraf Khater – Study Area Leader for Physical Environment and Dr. Carmen Menes, Study Area leader for Socio-Economics while the researchers are Dr. Ismael Haguisan III; Dr. Theresa Jennifer Mendoza and Ms. Josephine Lumagbas. Fray Don Besana, OAR; Fray Jose Alden Alipin, OAR; Mrs. Ma. Luisa Catague, CPA, MBA and Dr. Carlos Eduardo Legaspi, Jr. were also present during the monitoring activity.
