A two-day celebration was held for the members of the UNO-R Batch 2019. The Baccalaureate Mass was held April 5 while the Commencement Exercises was held April 6. The Baccalaureate Ceremonies was held at 5 pm, University Amphitheater and opened with the Eucharistic Celebration led by the University President, Fray Don H. Besana, OAR who was joined by Recoletos de Bacolod community. After the Mass was the awarding of Outstanding Graduates which was followed by the imposition of the hoods. Awardees were:

After the awarding of outstanding students, Carmen Jesusa B. Legaspi, BSMC, Magna Cum Laude and THOS finalist talked on how to become a true “RECOLETO” leader. After her speech was the imposition of the hoods per program. John Lloyd Belbar, BSEd –English, Summa Cum Laude, gave the words of thanks. The whole program closed with the singing of the Blue and the Gold march.
The Second day was the Commencement Exercises. The procession from the Main Lobby to the University Amphitheater was led by the honor graduates. The rites opened with the prayer led by the Fray Cristituto Palomar, OAR, University Chaplain and Vice President for Religious Affairs. Engr. Christopher Taclobos, MEng, University Registrar introduced the Deans of the Colleges. The deans recommended their respective candidates for graduation to the Fr. President, who in turn conferred the respective degrees of the graduates. This was followed by the presentation and awarding of the graduates with Academic Honors. Batch 2019 has 3 Summa Cum Laude, 8 Magna Cum Laude, 23 Cum Laude and 2 recipients of Certificate of Academic Distinction. 2019 Special Awards were also given to two alumni who placed 9th in the September 2018 Licensure Examination for Teachers. Fray Amadeo Lucero, OAR, Vice President for Student Welfare presented the 27 Loyalty Awardees. Olivia Genobis, Summa Cum Laude, delivered the Valedictory address. The distribution of diplomas followed. Dr. Angelus Diamante, President of the Blue and Gold Alumni Association led the induction of the new members to the alumni association. The program closed with the singing of the Alma Mater Hymn.
