The UNO-R School of Agriculture and the Recoletos On-line Learning Extension ROLEx held a seminar-workshop on the Knowledge Sharing on Animal Breeding and Genetics, May 29- 30, 2018 at the Mass Communications Studio. The resource speakers were Dr. Orville Bondoc and Dr. Benjamen Reuel Marte. Bondoc is a top caliber professor of the University of the Philippines – Los Baňos (UPLB) on Animal Breeding and Genetics Improvement. All breeding aspects of livestock and poultry production systems were discussed and explained by Dr. Bondoc. While Dr. Marte is a Veterinary Pathologist and professor of UPLB College of Veterinary Medicine. Both speakers are Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and Course content writers of ROLEx. In the afternoon, Dr. Vilma Azucena gave a talk on Biotechnology. The second day was devoted to tours around the farms as venues for outside classrooms.
