The University of Negros Occidental – Recoletos Campus Ministry Office is currently facilitating an Annual Flores De Mayo at the Gawad Kalinga Village, Barangay Banago, Bacolod City and at the Monastery of St. Ezekiel Moreno, Barangay Tangub, Bacolod City respectively. Likewise, we are blessed to have 8 volunteer catechists from the Student Catholic Action of the Philippines whose name was mentioned above. A total of 100 children aged 5-15 benefits the said activity. The aim of this activity is to provide knowledge and to give honor to the Blessed Virgin Mary on this month of May with the children. The most awaited part of this activity is the scheduled First communion of the children which will be held on May 29, 2018 at the Oratory of St. Nicholas of Tolentine. Noted also is the Culminating activity on May 30, 2018. We would like to acknowledge the in-kind and financial assistance provided by the employee and students of the University.
