A Seminar on the Animal Welfare Act (RA 8485) as amended by RA 10631 and DA Administrative Order No. 40 was conducted at the university Fr. Cuenca Hall, July 17, 2017. The seminar is about the Rules and Regulations on the conduct of scientific procedures using animals. Dr. Oscar John Cabayanan of the Bureau of Animal welfare was the guest speaker. He was accompanied by the Division Chief of the Department of Agriculture – NIR, Dr. John Michael Cabuguason. The seminar was sponsored by the College of Arts and Sciences, Agriculture Department in partnership with DA-NIR. Also present during the said seminar were Dr. Annabee Claur; Dr. Riza Manalo; and Dr. Ma. Corazon Acaba.
