A group of outreach coordinator from the different colleges and departments of the University joined Gawad Kalinga (GK) in Purok Riverside, Barangay Banago in the turn over of the first 20 houses to its beneficiaries last October 25.
Mr. Ferdinand Concepcion, staff at the Research, Planning, and Development Office (RPDO), is the Director of this Project. The University has been actively participating in the organization of the beneficiaries and in the construction of these houses. According to UCDO Director, Dr. Evangeline Aboyo, GK has recognized UNO-R as an active partner in this noble endeavor; thus, the University has been chosen as one worthy witnesses in the turn – over ceremony.
