The UNO-R Center for Cultural and Professional Development (UCCPD) welcomes its first Korean student to enroll in the English as a Second Language Program (ESL).
Mr. Park Jin Seong will attend Conversational English and Interactive English classes under Miss Lerma Yapiso and Miss Jane Sorallo respectively, who are both TESOL trained tutors. The ESL Program, which runs for 120 hours, starts on November 3, 2008 and culminates in February 2009. Dr. Nena Samillano, UCCPD Head, hopes that this would be the start of more opportunities for the University to cater foreign students through its language development programs.
