UNO-R School of Law Holds Justice Run

The UNO-R School of Law, together with the entire UNO-R community and in partnership with Smoke 10 Runners Club Bacolod, will be conducting an organized fun run, dubbed as the first ever “Justice Run” in Negros Occidental on February 8, around 5AM at the Provincial Capitol Lagoon. The objective of the event is to inspire the entire school body, its students, faculty, employees and alumni and other individuals that embody the vision of the school and to raise awareness that will move the school’s youth and other participants in regard to the cause which is to help the University’s chosen charity partner, Virlanie Foundation, Inc., a non-government organization that cares for abused, exploited, orphaned, neglected and poor children all over the Philippines, by giving the part of the proceeds of the event. The Barristers’ Club, the organizer of the event, also invited the undergraduate students through their NSTP and PE classes, Supreme Student Government, College Councils and the Campus Organization Federation in believing that the event will enable them to appreciate the value of health, socialization and their role as future leaders in the society. The race categories will include 3km, 5km and 10km courses which will start at Provincial Capitol Lagoon going north of the DPWH office as the end point, passing Lacson Street.
