The UNO-R Junior High School team, also known as the Red Phoenix was hailed as the champion during the Cheer Dance Competition of the High School Department at the University Gym, January 14. The fourth year Blue Wolves won as first runner-up; Second year Yellow Tigers got second runner-up; and first year Green Dragon was the third runner-up. The gym was filled with the whole UNO-R High School community and some Cheer Dance enthusiasts who enjoyed the competition. The contest was just a part of the Sportsfest celebration of the UNO-R High School Department which started on January 14 and will end on January 18.
