Black Mamba Arnis Club –UNO-R Chapter joined the 1st Arnis Philippines Goodwill Tournament held last May 18, 2008 at the Casino Filipino Hotel, Goldenfield, Bacolod City. The UNO-R chapter mentored by founder Grand Master Dominador “Jun” Villaluna, Jr. got the gold in the Women’s Featherweight Division and Bronze in the Extra-Lightweight Division while other members got silver medals.
Jhonafer Robles, a third year education student of UNO-R got the gold while William Montaño, president of the chapter, got the bronze in the Extra-Lightweight Division.
Other members who got the silver in their respective divisions are Joseph Gayatin, Jose Clemen, Juan Carlos Ayeng and Fernando Pendon.
UNO-Rians Lance Xerxes Montaño, Izaiah Montaño and J.D. Clemen, junior members of the chapter, showed their skills in handling double sticks in a demonstration exhibition.
