RDO HOLDS UNIVERSITY RESEARCH EXPO 2023

The Research and Development Office held the University Research Expo (URE) 2023 last June 9, 2023 at the President’s Hall. The winners for the Oral Presentation Category were the College of Education – 1st place with the research entitled “Cognitive Academic Translanguaging: a Pedagogical Tool in Attaining Climate Literacy through Modular Instruction.” The College of Allied Medical Health Sciences placed second with the study entitled “Genotoxic Evaluation of Batuan (Garcinia Binucao) Fruit Extract Using Onion (Allium Cepa) Root Tip Assay.” While the College of Arts and Sciences was named 3rd with their study entitled “Social Support and Psychological Well-Being of lesbian, Gay, and Bisexual Students.”

In the Poster Presentation Category, the College of Education placed 1st with the poster on the study entitled “English Exposure and Subject-Verb Agreement Proficiency of Pre-service Teachers: A Basis for an Online Instructional Material.” While, the 2nd and 3rd place went to the College of Arts and Sciences with the posters on the studies entitled “Motivational Factors and Job Satisfaction among Call Center Employees” and “Paghimakas: Life through the Lens of College Student Assistants living in Economically-Disadvantaged Areas .” (data and pics from RDO)
