A book fair is held at the university Main lobby from February 7 – 10 from 8:30 – 5:30. The fair opened February 07 with Director of Libraries, Mrs. Arabella Ananoria, welcoming the exhibitors Mrs. Jerinah Escala introduced and presented the exhibitors. Rev. Fr. Emeterio Buñao, OAR ; Bro. Jaazeal Jakosalem,OAR ;Dr. Carlos Legaspi,Jr and Mrs. Ananoria officially opened the fair through a ribbon cutting.
The exhibitors are: Belview Book Co., Inc.; CD Books Int’l., Inc.; C&E Publishing,Inc.; DD Knowledge Seller Ent.; Forefront Book Co., Inc.; Global Int’l. Link Enterprises; Goodwill Book Store; Great Books Trading; Linear Educational Materials, Inc. Mega Texts Phil., Inc.; and Super Pages Trading.
Meanwhile, A Half-day lecturette on Code of Professional Practice and Conduct for 21st Century Educators by Mrs. Corazon P. Brown, Asst. Regional Director, DepEd Region VI was held at the University President’s Hall last February 04. The talk was divided into two parts: “Observing Professionalism, Etiquette and Ethical Behavior” and “ Code and Guidelines for Professionalism, Etiquette and Ethical Behavior. Fr. Joel Alve,OAR gave the Welcome Address while Fr. Dexter Palagtiosa, OAR gave the invocation. There were more than 250 participants coming from all the departments of the university.
The Book fair is one of the many activities in celebration of the golden anniversary of the university.
