The Infotech Webteam of The College of Information Technology of the University of Negros Occidental- Recoletos composed of Ricky Noel Diancin and Shad Roi De la Cruz, both BSCS students together with Jan Rodrigo Guanzon, a BSIS student, won first place in the ICT Fair Web Development Competition last March 1-2, 2011 at the SM Activity Center, sponsored by the Bacolod-Negros Federation of Information Technology (BNEFIT).
Furthermore, Henry Pilla, BSIT 1, won 2nd place in Avatar Design and Digital Imaging Competition while Elizabeth Law, BSIS 3 and Christine de la Cruz BSCS 2 ranked fourth in the ICT Quiz show.
The competition dubbed as “ICT Olympics 2011” hopes to raise the level of consciousness and knowledge of the public regarding information and communication technology which encouraged participation from all levels of both public and private schools.
