The Editor-in-Chief of Starlight, the official publication of the UNO-R High School Department, Ma. Josefina Tecson, is recognized by the Philippine Information Agency of Region 6 as an IWAG Awardee for excellence in development communication for 2009.
Tecson, who has served the high school publication for three years as news correspondent then associate editor and this year’s editor-in-chief, has had numerous articles promoting development communication published through the school paper, which made her a worth recipient of the prestigious award.
