| Rongo’s scholarship covers tuition and other school fees grant of not to exceed P6,000 per semester or term, allowance for prescribed textbooks and essential school supplies at P5,000 per academic year and free transportation for one economy-class round trip fare between his resident and the place of study. He will also receive a monthly allowance, group and accident insurance, and other privileges as required in the curriculum. The scholarship program is a part of the government’s effort to encourage students to enroll in science courses to strengthen the country’s science and technology program. | |
