Engr. Christopher Taclobos, Dean of the College of Engineering, was elected President of the Council of Engineering and Architecture Schools of Western Visayas (CEAS-WV), Inc. during the 3rd quarter meeting of the Council held last September 26 at Central Philippine University, Iloilo City. As President, Engr. Taclobos will serve for two terms: SY 2008-2009 and 2009-2010.
CEAS-WV was purposely organized to promote a cooperative endeavor and to foster closer and wholesome relationships among engineering and architecture schools in Western Visayas. All engineering and architecture schools in Western Visayas with government recognition are regular members while those on permit status are associate members. Currently, CEAS-WV, Inc. has 21 member schools.
