The College of Criminal Justice Education sponsored a symposium tagged as “Present Philippine Correctional System: Treatment and Developmental Programs for Persons Deprived of Liberty” last November 21 at the Fr. Cuenca Hall. Chief Inspector Gilbert D. Peremne, Jail Warden of Bacolod City District Jail was the resource speaker. Senior CCJE students were the participants to the said symposium. The objective of the symposium is to orient the students on the present situation of the Philippine Correctional System and make CCJE students fully aware of the programs intended for persons deprived of liberty.
