The Campus Ministry Office, together with the Religious Education Department, University Community Development Office, Recollect Augustinian Youth, and the Children of Mary headed by Rev. Fr. Corvin R. Maturan, OAR, held the Annual Hospital Visit as one of the activities on the celebration of the Feast of St. Ezekiel Moreno, Patron Saint of Cancer patients at the Corazon Locsin Regional Memorial Hospital thru the Sto. Niño Chaplaincy last September 20, 2023, at 10:00 am. The team was warmly welcomed by the Chaplain, Rev. Fr. Ermen Bimbao, together with the Head Nurse of the hospital.
The visit started with a Eucharistic Celebration attended by the cancer patients, their families, OPD nurses, and guests. It was followed by the Catechesis about the life of St. Ezekiel Moreno and Nuestra Señora de la Salud, which was given by Ms. Jeniel Fabella and Mr. Jovito Moral, respectively. UNO – Recoletos donated 38 packs of in–kind donations and Forty-Three Thousand Nine Hundred Fifty-One and Ninety-Five centavos (Php43, 951.95). Five Thousand Pesos (Php5000.00) were also donated to the mother, a cancer patient of Mr. Jelly Cabahug from the IS (SHS) department.
