Novena and Feast of St. Ezekiel Moreno

Our only business of true import here on earth is to love God, so we can have Him in heaven. That is our purpose in life. All our efforts must be focused on the attainment of that end; if we lose it, all is lost. Let us not appreciate earthly things more than what they deserve. Let us give due importance to what is divine. Only these are truly necessary. things of this world come to an end and vanish in the wink of an eye. Heavenly things are eternal. We must, therefore, aspire for what is eternal. Let us constantly yearn for our heavenly abode and strive to gain those ineffable pleasures in store for us in heaven, if we come out victorious in the warfares of this life.
