Around 600 participants from different schools in the province joined the 3rd Youth Jamboree last March 1 and 2 at the UNO-Recoletos Amphitheater. It was organized by the UNO-Recoletos Campus Ministry Office, VP-External Office and Director of Student Affairs Office. Children of Mary (COM), Students Catholic Action of the Philippines (SCAP), College of Education Interns and member of different religious congregations acted as facilitators during the activity.

The Jamboree aimed to help each participant in determining their vocations in life. It was an overnight event filled with activities which encouraged each participant to reflect on their true vocation.Rev. Fr. Jason Laguerta, National Coordinator of Vocation Directors in the Philippines, gave a very inspiring message to the youth that night. He shared how he was called by the Father to serve His people. He also challenged everyone to really go down deeper and listen to the will of God for them.

He left the Congregation with the questions:

  1. Who is God in my life?
  2. How could I respond to His call?
  3. What hinders me from serving God?

These were the questions that were answered by the participants.
