After the MOU signing with the Department of Agrarian Reform(DAR), the College of Arts and Sciences with DAR officials, went to the prospect site for the project at Dalayapan Community in Cadiz City last October 5, 2023. The object of the visit was to explore the area for the possible project implementation of the college in the area.
CAS Dean Dr. Annabee Claur led the group with Program Heads: Dr. Paulino Oῆal, Ms. Laarni Muzones, Ms. Sheila Eran, Ms. Muriel Lobaton, Students, and Dr. Carlos Legaspi, Jr. The group met with the officers of the cooperative and gave some orientation on the possible projects. Officials from DAR also gave the location of the more or less 15 hectares field to be used as a Demo Farm for the Community and the university.
