Janna Mary Lagare and Glezia Marie Perez, alumni of UNO-Recoletos were among the 18 regional finalists from Region VI for the Ten Outstanding Students of the Philippines (TOSP). They are attending the Regional Formation workshop in Iloilo City from April 4 to 10, 2010. The awarding will be on April 10,2010.

Lagare is a graduate of Bachelor of Secondary Education – summa cum laude. She is one of the three The Outstanding Students (THOS) awardees of Negros Occidental given by the Bacolod Jaycees, Inc. She was also a delegate to the 11th Ayala Young Leaders’ Congress and an active volunteer of Gawad kalinga. She is also the Vice-president of the UNO-R Supreme Student Government. Meanwhile, Perez is a graduate of bachelor of Medical laboratory Science (BMLS), cum laude. She is also a recipient of the PASMETH Golden Achiever Award. She is the President of the Youth Council Against Tuberculosis (YCAT). She was the University Coordinator of the GK Provincial Team. One of the finalists of THOS.
