Three students from the School of Agriculture under the College of Arts and Sciences earned awards in the 2ndAklan State University from February 23 to 25, 2009. FLP Regional Agri-Related Work Conference held at Aklan State University from February 23 to 25, 2009.
Ivy O. Francisco was Champion for her “Project Proposal on Animal Science”. Reginald C. Geollegue was also Champion for his “Estimating Live Weight of Hog” and First Runner-Up for his “Compounding Feed Ration”. Meanwhile, Solyn R. Bermudo was named finalist for her “Fertilizer Computation for Crop Science”. Of the 14 participating schools, the School of Agriculture got an overall standing of second for the Animal Science Division. Adviser at the conference was Dr. Ma. Evangeline Cafino.
