JAPANESE FIRM WANTS TO PROVIDE JOB OPPORTUNITIES TO UNORIANS

Nichiigakkan Co., Ltd or Nichii representatives, Tomiro Yanagisawa and Takayuki Narukawa, met with the Dr. Shiela Arnibal, Dean of the College of Nursing and Allied Medical Health Sciences (CAMHS), and Dr. Nena Samillano, Director of STEP Office and Dr. Carlos Legaspi ,Director for External Affairs for a possible partnership. The company is a leading Japanese company in the caregiving industry, which operates more than more than 1,000 caregiving visits branches and about 400 daycare centers and nursing home. Their company would like to help students in the medical profession to work in Japan by integrating their program in the curriculum. The company wants to help Filipinos take a Japanese certificate for high skilled caregiving services which is called “Kaigo Fukushishi.” If the university partners with the company, a Japanese language proficiency and Caregiving Basic Learning will be integrated in the curriculum.
