UNO-R HOLDS 2023 SERVICE AWARDS NIGHT

The university held its Service Awards Night last September 09, 2023 at the Grand La Proa Ballroom of the L’ Fisher Hotel. This is an annual event spearheaded by the Human Resource Management and Development Office to give the Star of Tolentine Awards, giving tribute to the retiring employees, the St. Ezekiel Moreno Awards for employees on their 25th, 30th, and 35th years of service and the Diwa Rekoleto Awards for employees who have served the university for 10, 15 and 20 years.

The recipients of the Star of Tolentine Awards are Pia Flores and John Clifford Salugsugan. The St. Ezekiel Moreno Awardees for this year are Margiolina Menente (35 years); Carlos Eduardo Legaspi, Jr., Judy Mendoza, Ernil Orbecido, and Ruby Ravelista (30 years); Lilyn Estrada, Dennis Madrigal, and Reymund Sabay, Alex Agustino, Joelittle Aritao, Mariano Antenor,Jr., Romero Daruca, Federico Palmes, Eddie Rodriguez, Armano Villanueva and Dominador Villanueva, Jr.

The Diwa Rekoleto awardees were Helen Jill Matus, Fatima Medel and Maricel Pacio (20 years), Joy Borcelas, Rizah Ann de los Reyes, Verna Mae Flor, April Marie Gonzales, Marisa Petalla, Allan Diloy and Joy Jolito (15 years); and Rudelyn Caῇada, Jessica May De Larrazabal, Mark Jasson Garcelan, Alvin Mananquil, and Ellen Rose Nillos (10 years).

Rev. Fr. Corvin Maturan, OAR, CMO Director opened the evening with the invocation to God. Fr. Amadeo Lucero, OAR VP-Administration and Finance, and Director of HRMDO, gave the welcome address while Fr. Joel A. Alve,OAR, University President, gave the message and Fr. Romeo Ben Potencio,Jr., OAR gave the Closing Remarks. Mr. Antenor and Mrs. Menente gave their messages in behalf of the awardees while Dr. Saliugsugan and Mrs. Flores gave their messages as Star of Tolentine Awardees.

The theme of the evening was Gatsby and the best in Gatsby attire of the night were Fr. Potencio and Mrs. Pia Flores.
