University President Fr. Joel Alve, OAR; VP-Academics and Research Fr. Romeo Ben Potencio, Jr., OAR; UCDO Director Mr. Alvin Ramoran, RSW; and Director for External Affairs Director Dr. Carlos Eduardo Legaspi, Jr. attended the CEAP NIR Regional Assembly last September 1, 2023, at the Santuario de la Salle.
The program opened with the welcome address of Bro. Joaquin Severino S. Martinez, FSC. Mr. Allan Arellano, CEAP Executive Director, updated the assembly on the activities and advocacies of the association, while Ms. Rhodora Angela Ferrer, PEAC Executive Director, gave the Philippine Education updates and issues.
Msgr. Ronald Quijano, STh.D, VG, gave a talk on “Pilgrim of Hope Exploring Pathways of Synodality. After Lunch, the participants were divided into groups for the sharing of experiences of synodality. In the afternoon, the Executive Board elected the new set of officers for AY 2023-2024, where Fr. Potencio was elected as a member of the Board of Trustees.
Kit Martin De Paula represented the university in the Student Cluster. He was also the emcee of the day.
