BGAA HONORS 16 ALUMNI ACHIEVERS

Sixteen Alumni Achievers from UNO-R High School will be recognized on September 30, 2023, during the Blue and Gold Alumni Homecoming at UNO-R Gymnasium.

The alumni achievers for 2023 are

Dr. Mary Grace Tolete-Manganti (’98),

Elvira T. Pang (’73),

Merly V. Olis (’73),

Dr. Fanny U. Uy (’73),

Dr. Ruby N. Pedroza (’95),

Dr. David G. Pedroza (’95), and

Dr. Mary Ann Jocson -Gebusion (’97).

And This year’s Outstanding Alumnus is Dr. Melvin Sanicas (’97).

The morning Program will open with a Thanksgiving Mass at the Oratory to be followed by the blessing of the statue of the Pedagogue – Come follow me.” Some batches will have a campus tour while the others will proceed to the gymnasium. At the gym, the program will open with its opening formalities where the Fr. President, Fr. Joel Alve, OAR; BGAA President Dr. Angelus C. Diamante,and Batch ’98 President Argie Argonza will give the opening and welcome messages.

Awarding of the Alumni Achievers and Outstanding Alumnus follows after the opening Salvo number from Batch ’98. Dr. Melvin J. Sanicas will deliver a response on behalf of the awardees.

After Lunch, the jubilee batches will be recognized. These are High School Batches 70, 71, 72 and 73 as Golden Jubilarians. This year is unique for we will be celebrating the jubilee years of 4 batches -Silver (95, 96, 97 and 98); Ruby (80, 81, 82 and 83); Golden (70, 71, 72, 73) and diamond (HS class ’63)
