UNO-R Celebrates Holy Spirit Mass

The university officially opened with the Mass of the Holy Spirit last June 24, 2014 at the University gymnasium. Rev. Fr. Julius Marcos, OAR was the Main Presider and joined by the Father Provincial and members of the Provincial Council, the Board of Trustees and the School Board. The Mass was attended by the Deans, Faculty, Staff and Students. A very meaningful and inspirational homily delivered by Fr. Marcos spoke of the Real meaning of Happiness and Love. He differentiated Physical happiness and Emotional happiness from the most important, which is Spiritual happiness. He further added that love gives meaning to our Existence, it brings happiness to us. He taught us that Jesus is the true Love- Caritas, and Jesus is the Truth- Scientia. He said that True love could be likened to the gifts of the Holy Spirit which are willingness to suffer and Die (Courage) , always what is right for God (Prudence); always what is good for us (Kindness), always helps and forgives us (Compassion); and always disposed to serve God and us (Justice). Holy Spirit inspires us for the Love of God. Concelebrants were: Fr. Lauro Larlar, OAR; Fr. Dionesio Selma, OAR; Fr. Bernard Amparado, OAR; Fr. Leopoldo Estioko, OAR; Fr. Henry Santiago, OAR; Fr.
