Lay and Religious administrators were summoned to attend the 2-day Institutional Planning at the Presidents Hall, 27th and 28th of May 2014. The 1st half day finalization of calendar of activities for 2014-2015 opened with a beautiful prayer of Rev. Fr. Cornelio Moral, OAR.
The statement of purpose for the half day activity was set by the Fr. President. Fr. Buñao told those who were present that the output of the day’s planning will be his short-term plan report to the Father Prior Provincial while the 2nd half –day result will be the response of the university as a long-term plan for the K to 12 challenge. Dr. Legaspi presented the consolidated plan of activities for the academic year 2014-2015. Fr. Jorge Peligro, OAR gave the closing remarks and told the body that we have to fasten our seatbelts for the turbulence ahead of us but we need not to worry if we have belted ourselves to the seats of the plane.
The second half day activity which was the “Plenary for K to 12 Findings and Proposals” opened with the prayer from the heart in Filipino by Fr. Louie Gabinete, OAR. This was followed by the opening message of the Fr. President. The different K to 12 Committees reported and updated the group on what their committees had done. The reports will form part of the long-term plan for the university. Fr. Peligro gave the closing message while Fr. Moral closed the activity with his prayer – the “Glory be” in Spanish.
