UNO-R HOLDS SERVICE AWARDS NIGHT

The University of Negros Occidental –Recoletos had its Awards Night at the University Main Lobby, September 14. Four employees received the “Star of Tolentine Award”. This is given to an employee of the university who has reached the mandatory retirement age of sixty. They are Marilyn Alcantara; Maribel Gonzales; Rizalie Mibato and Domingo Catalan. Meanwhile, ten employees received the “St. Ezekiel Moreno Service Award”, This is given to employees who have served the university for 25 years and above with the interval of 5 years. For 35 years of service- Ana Jover and Ezer Ta-ala; for 30 years of service – Susana Caler, Jelyn Gaspillo, Celo Magallanes, Evelinda Chavez and Gabriela Francisco; and for 25 years of service – Teresita Golez, Margiolina Menente and Dean Nieves Pepito. On the other hand, the Diwa Rekoleto Service Awards were given to thirty-one employees. This is given to those who have served the university for 20, 15 and 10 years. The recipients are: Vilma Azucena; Russell Buslay; Dean John Clifford Salugsugan ; Carlos Eduardo Legaspi, Jr; Judy Mendoza; Ernil Orbecido and Ruby Ravelista for their twenty years of service. For 15 years of service – Rex Abibuag; Alex Agustino; Ramel Ambino; Mariano Antenor, Jr.; Joelittle Aritao; Romero Daruca; Noel de la Cruz; Eden Galve; Raymundo Montinola; Federico Palmes; Raymund Rebuton; Eddie Rodriguez; Marites Salgado; Armando Villanueva; Dominador Villanueva; Lilyn Estrada; Fernando Flores; Ma. Marilen Madamesila; Dennis Madrigal; and Reymund Sabay. While, for their 10th of service -Robert John Lamis; Helen Jill Mattus; Fatima Medel; and Maricel Pacio. The program ended with the Closing Remarks of Fr. Cornelio Moral, OAR The employees’ Awards night is an annual tradition that honors the services and dedication of the University employees.
