Bayle Ala Sinulog was held to highlight the Feast of St. Nicholas of Tolentino at the University Gymnasium, 9:30 AM of September 10. The Yellow team, Blue team, Red team, Orange team and Green team, composed of UNO-R faculty, Religious and Lay administrators and staff were led by the following: Bro. Jaazeal Jakosalem, OAR for the yellow team, Fr. Rouel Sia, OAR for the Red team, Fr. Louie Gabinete, OAR for the Blue team, Fr. Constantino Real, OAR for the Green team and Fr. Emeterio Buñao, OAR for Orange team. Each team danced to one tune and was judged based on their performances during the street dancing and the final performance. The Green team was declared champion and bagged the Best in Costume and Best in Choreography. The Red team and Yellow team were first and second respectively. The Blue team was awarded Most Disciplined while the Yellow team bagged the Most Participative award. “Thank you awards” were given to the Orange and Blue Teams. According to Miss Nilda Jamili, organizer and the Associate HRMDO Director, the activity was held to enhance camaraderie and harmony among the employees of the university. The said activity was made possible through the help of the ABS-CBN and MOR, the media partners of the Bayle ala Sinulog. Fr. Jorge Peligro,OAR and Fr. Cornelio Moral, OAR were part of the Board of Judges.
