Members of the Board of Trustees of the University of Negros Occidental-Recoletos, Inc. met for their regular meeting for the year 2010 yesterday, June 17, 2010, at the UNO-R President’s Hall.

Presiding officer was Prior Provincial, Fr. Regino Bangcaya, OAR, the Chairman of the Board. After the Opening Prayer and some spiritual inputs, Fr. Dionisio Cachero, OAR, University President, delivered the President’s Report. Highlights of his report were the major accomplishments of the Administration for Academic Year 2009-2010 based from the School Board’s Thrust (10-Point Agenda). Vice President for Finance and Corporate Treasurer, Fr. Edcel Celiz, OAR, presented the financial status of the University in his Treasurer’s Report. Determination of the new composition of the Board then followed without anyone resigning from his post. To be fully functional, the Board resolved that there be three regular meetings in a year; thus, the next board meeting would be sometime in November. The new lay member of the Board would be voted in the next meeting.
