UNO-Rian lawyer Ivan G. Nemenzo, LLB ’85, was elected President of the Integrated Bar of the Philippines-Negros Occidental Chapter (IBP-Negros Occidental) in a landslide victory last February 28, 2009.
Atty. Nemenzo leads a number of UNO-Rian lawers who will serve a two-year term of office from 2009-2011: Atty. Arnel L. Lapore, LLB ’94, Vice President; Atty. Pauline Tumonong-Nuega, LLB ’96, Secretary; Atty. Pearl R. Montesino, LLB ’96, Public Information Officer; Attys. Jose Jonathan Ealdama, LLB ’96, Vicente C. Petierre III, LLB ’96, and Romeo Carlos M. Ting, LLB ’02, IBP-Negros Occidental Directors.
Other lawyers who were elected were Atty. Pacifico Maghari III, Treasurer; Atty. Rayfrando Diaz, Auditor; and Attys. Charisse Hiponia-Marañon and Marcelo Briones, IBP-Negros Occidental Directors.
The IBP-Negros Occidental Chapter and Bacolod City will host the 12th National Convention of Lawyers on March 26-28, 2009 at the Bacolod Pavillon Hotel and Restaurant (JPVillasor).
