University Community Development Office (UCDO)

The University Community Development Office is responsible over the working committees of the Outreach Program as well as the student groups that serve as implementers of the Outreach Program.

Duties and Responsibilites

  • Provides leadership in the “communication and diffusive” love of the Augustinian Recollects;
  • Supervises and coordinates all outreach programs and activities, whether socio-pastoral or liturgical in nature, whether school-based or area-based;
  • Oversees the Outreach staff and volunteers;
  • Monitors the programming, implementation, and coordinates with the Research Center in the evaluation of the university/college-sponsored project activities in the assisted areas;
  • Undertakes on-going formation and skills training of the volunteers, facilitates regular staff meetings, and makes requisition for cash and materials needed for the maintenance of the office;
  • Assigns certain responsibilities to the staff members when necessary;
  • Prepares a preliminary budget for the office and submits it to the President for proper action; receives budget control reports and explains variances between budgeted and actual expenditures; and
  • Performs other functions as directed by the President.
