Office of the Sports Moderator
The Office of the Sports Moderator takes charge of the coaches and athletes plans and organizes their respective activities.
Duties and Responsibilites
- Develops athletic programs for the benefit of students and school personnel;
- Plans and directs the activities of official athletic teams, supervises their training, and arranges their participation in local or national competitions with the consent of the President;
- Undertakes a continuous study of requirements for better service to the students, and develops standards of performance for coaches and athletes;
- Establishes procedures for the proper use, maintenance, control, and safekeeping of all athletic equipment, supplies, etc. and coordinates with the Property Administrator in making the annual inventory of the same;
- Submits to the VP Student Welfare regular reports on the activities and accomplishments of the various units under him;
- Signs requisitions for equipment and supplies within the limits of his budget;
- Advises the HRMDO on the appointment, promotion, or separation of the personnel under him; clarifies their relationships and responsibilities;
- Prepares a preliminary budget for his office and submits it to the VP-Finance through the Vp-Student Welfare for proper action; receives budget control reports and explains variances between budgeted and actual expenditures; and
- Performs other functions as directed by the President through the VP-Student Welfare.
