The University officially inaugurated the Green Heart Hermitage after a solemn blessing and simple ceremony last November 29 at the Agriculture Area.  Supervised by Bro. Jaazeal Jakosalem, OAR, Property Administrator, the Hermitage was built to become the center of the University’s ecological initiatives and commitment.  This is also where activities related to organic farming, recycling, free-range poultry, and interactive-training will be held.

The Hermitage poses not just as a green house but as a real home where aside from enhancing the community’s ecological commitment, it shall also offer humane services for students like counseling by the friars and “free lunch for poor students” made possible by friends and benefactors of the hermitage.  At the same time, the Green Heart Hermitage will serve as a Training Center for the Caregiver Program.
