The “flying” UNO-R Sepak Takraw team in action versus USLS team
Vanessa Joy Galunan of Women Chess brought home the gold medal from the 17th Sandugo – University Games held in Bacolod. Ms. Mary Grace Tambasen is the coach of Galunan. Rose Jean Fadol, Sheryl Mae Otañes, Benjie Lyn Dayap, Meryl Mae Rojo and Jerelyn Concepcion of Women’s Table Tennis, mentored by Mr. George Jimenez, and Mark Hojilla and Markheen Bendicio of Men’s Beach Volleyball mentored by Mr. Jason Delmo and Mark Anthony Danoy got silver medals. Men’s Sepak Takraw coached by Mr. Julius Tristan Cantero and Coach Erol Cosas-mentored women shotput Devy Isada brought home the bronze medals. Richard de la Cruz; Rayan Caburnay; Ernesto Nombra; Jun Elmer Tantoy; Herman Umadhay; Carlo Llera; Mark Deniel Tulo; Jestoni Capitle; and Milky Joe Cosip are the university’s Sepak Takraw-men bronze medalists.
