Larong Pinoy, a fun-filled activity rejuvenated the READS Sportsfest soft opening, October 15 at UNO-R amphitheatre. During the short program at the gymnasium, Rev. Fr. Pedro A. Escanillas, OAR, Director of Scholarships opened the sportsfest followed by a talk of Dr. Carlos Eduardo Legaspi, Jr, Director of Student Affairs and Public Relations Office head, regarding with moral fiber and frame of mind that a READS scholar should have. Aiken B. Sanico, READS President, expressed a positive reception to the READS scholars for the trust and for giving him the opportunity to lead the READS community. Ms. Catherine S. Sebastian, Scholarships office staff, Fr. Eduardo S. Celiz, OAR and Bro. Jaazeal D. Jakosalem, OAR were also present in the event. It was energizing that make best use of all READS scholars to participate chiefly when the Larong Pinoy games; Tug-of-war, Longest Line and Kadang-kadang launched. EXECOM officers Chique S. Serdenia and Sunday Vince V. Latergo hosted the said event.
