RBGS Professor Received Foreign Scholarship

Recoletos de Bacolod Graduate School Special Education Program Adviser to the Academic Consultant and Adjunct Professorial Lecturer in Special Education,Joaquin Antonio Benedicto is one of the recipients of the 2009 academic excellence scholarship given to International Postgraduate Coursework students by La Trobe University of Melbourne, Victoria, Australia.


Professor Benedicto was also awarded advanced standing towards the degree, Master of Occupational Therapy Practice from the School of Occupational Therapy, Faculty of Health Sciences, La Trobe University. He is bound to finish  his masters for 1 year instead of normally two years.

He also co-authored two modules on the Web-based Autism Learning Package for Occupational Therapist who are working with Children with and Autism Spectrum Disorder and sponsored by OT AUSTRALIA.

La Trobe University is renowned for its teaching, research and the quality of its degree programs.  The University has over 30 research centres, links with more than 200 universities around the world and is a member of the Innovative Research Universities (IRU), Australia.

 Benedicto has been invited  to be a visiting faculty of several universities in the Philippines.
